How the Keizer Public Safety Foundation handles information collected through this website.

Last Updated: August 10, 2026

Keizer Public Safety Foundation ("KPSF," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, make a donation, register for an event, submit a sponsorship commitment, or otherwise interact with KPSF.

Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, contact information, organization information, donation or sponsorship details, event registration information, uploaded materials, and the contents of communications you send to us.

We may also collect certain information automatically when you use our website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring source, pages viewed, interactions with the website, and similar usage information.

How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website.
  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
  • Process and administer donations, sponsorships, and event registrations.
  • Fulfill sponsorship benefits and coordinate events.
  • Send confirmations and other transactional communications.
  • Maintain financial, tax, accounting, and organizational records.
  • Analyze website traffic, engagement, and the effectiveness of our outreach.
  • Protect our website and organization against fraud, misuse, or security threats.
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to measure website traffic, engagement, and the effectiveness of our outreach.

Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the website, including information about your device, browser, interactions with the website, referring source, and approximate location.

Information collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google according to Google's own privacy practices. You may be able to control or limit cookies through your browser settings and privacy controls made available by Google.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, security, and embedded third-party services.

These technologies may include cookies associated with Google Analytics and third-party services such as Zeffy. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies or technologies may affect some website features.

Donations, Payments, and Zeffy

KPSF uses Zeffy, a third-party fundraising and event platform, for certain donations, sponsorship payments, event registrations, and related transactions.

Zeffy may be presented through an embedded form or popup within the KPSF website. Information entered into a Zeffy form is processed through Zeffy's platform and is subject to Zeffy's own privacy policy and terms.

KPSF may receive information from Zeffy that is necessary to administer donations, sponsorships, payments, registrations, and related Foundation activities.

When an online payment is processed through Zeffy, KPSF does not directly collect or store complete payment-card information through its own website forms.

Uploaded Files

Certain KPSF forms may allow you to upload materials, such as an organization logo submitted in connection with a sponsorship.

We use uploaded materials for the purposes for which they were provided, including administering sponsorship benefits, preparing event materials, and providing sponsor recognition.

We take reasonable steps to limit access to uploaded materials to authorized individuals and service providers who need access for those purposes.

Email Communications

We may use the contact information you provide to send communications related to donations, sponsorships, payments, events, registrations, inquiries, and other interactions with KPSF.

Transactional website emails may be delivered through a third-party email service provider.

If KPSF sends marketing or promotional email communications in the future, recipients will be provided with unsubscribe or other controls as required by applicable law.

How We Share Information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers that support our website, hosting, analytics, email, file storage, security, and other operations.
  • Zeffy and other providers involved in donations, payments, fundraising, or event registration.
  • Google in connection with Google Analytics.
  • Authorized KPSF officers, board members, volunteers, contractors, or representatives who need the information to perform Foundation activities.
  • Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers.
  • Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect KPSF, its systems, its rights, or others.

Sale of Personal Information

KPSF does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

KPSF does not use personal information submitted through its donation, sponsorship, registration, or contact forms for targeted advertising.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to satisfy applicable financial, tax, accounting, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information. These rights may include requesting access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, as well as the right to opt out of certain uses where applicable.

Oregon privacy law provides certain rights to Oregon consumers when its requirements and applicability thresholds are met. To the extent applicable to KPSF and your personal information, KPSF will honor privacy rights as required by law.

We may take reasonable steps to verify the identity or authority of anyone submitting a privacy request. Certain information may be exempt from a request, or we may be permitted or required by law to retain it.
